  • Will Santa be there?
Santa will be joining us for Festive Fridays! From 5 - 7pm Santa will be visiting Dusk, we will play festive movies and have a holiday-themed activity for all to enjoy.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
All ticket sales are final. No modifications to dates or cancellations are accepted. If you can no longer arrive at your chosen time you can arrive at a different time on the SAME DAY as your ticket, and will be allowed entry if space remains within that timeslot. Entrance is only valid for the exact date/day shown on your ticket.
  • What to expect during your visit
Expect to see lights and creativity Expect to see a range of different light art installations throughout Rose Park, some with interactive elements, some with narrative, all will be beautiful Expect to enjoy a winter hub with warm drinks, snacks and raclette, propane firepits and some seating Expect that by visiting Dusk you are supporting a growing community event organised by passionate local organisations who just want to create cool experiences for our community Expect to see the event growing from a 2023 pilot into a fully fledged winter lights experience as we grow the event each year
  • Mobility
The Squamish at Dusk trail takes place in Rose Park on grass and on a smaller path through Carson/Lily's Gardens. Please wear weather appropriate footwear and clothing to ensure a comfortable and warm experience. For little ones, strollers are allowed and should be able to access the whole event (some parts of Carson Gardens have thinner trails and some roots/rocks and are a little bit trickier to navigate, and if there is snow or mud they may be harder to push) . For wheelchairs and mobility equipment: the walk is through the grassy park with uneven surfaces, and potentially mud and snow depending on the weather, with some small trails that are quite thin and rocky. Please come along, and our staff and volunteers can help you to visit as much of the experience as possible. We know that there are some accessibility challenges with this venue. Accessibility is at the top of our minds as we grow the event and our dream is to one day help to improve the park if the event remains at this location.
  • Weather
Squamish at Dusk will take place rain or shine and there will be no ticket changes or cancellations allowed due to the weather - this is a winter event. Please dress in appropriate clothing and footwear. Guests are encouraged to bring umbrellas, rain ponchos and footwear suitable for cold and wet terrain.
  • Can I book for a group, corporate event, wedding photos, or special occasion?
Yes! For any groups over 30 or special occasions please email us at hello@thewilder.ca and we'd love to help create a special night
  • Pet policy
We love pets but please leave them at home. Only service dogs will be allowed entry to the event.
  • Pictures and videos
Pictures and videos are highly encouraged! No flash photography please. Please be respectful of others experiences. Tag us @squamishatdusk #squamishatdusk #squamishatdusk2024
  • Drug and vaping policy
We have a strict zero tolerance on drugs and intoxication during your visit to Squamish at Dusk. Smoking and vaping of any kind is not permitted on site. Help us to make this a family-friendly, smoke-free event.
  • Health and safety
Guests that may suffer from epilepsy or are affected by visual light stimulation effects are advised to attend at their own risk. We will not have any medical facilities on site. The nearest hospital is the Squamish General Hospital.

  • Is there parking?
Yes there is parking right by Rose Park. If you park across the road at the Adventure Centre, please cross the road carefully. If it is snowy and icy the carpark can get icy, please be careful. Overflow parking is at the Smoke Bluffs parking lot just a bit further down Loggers Lane or you can park in the lots at McDonalds or by Nesters and walk over the highway using the pedestrian crossings.
  • How do I get there?
From Vancouver try poparide, the Squamish Connector bus, or the YVR Skylynx buses.
  • Will there be bike parking?
There is some bike parking at the Adventure Centre. We encourage biking, transit, and carpooling!
  • Where are the lights/entrance?
The lights are in Rose Park, the entrance is in the parking lot directly across from the Adventure Centre. Parking is here. We have a second entrance into the enchanted forest and tree of life, but make sure you visit the main section of light installations across from the Adventure Centre too!
  • Will you have food, or are there places to eat at Dusk?
We will have a concession stand at the event with snacks, and a food partner in the tent for a dinner option.
